Ashley Jared

Ashley Jared leads the Iowa Finance Authority’s marketing and communications initiatives. She works to ensure that Iowans are aware of the programs and resources available to them and is also passionate about building linkages between Iowa financial institutions and Iowa homebuyers that are looking to make a move. In addition to her strategic communications efforts, she uses her 15 years of housing experience to play a critical role in the formation of new programs, policies and innovations to better serve Iowans across the housing continuum.

Prior to joining the Iowa Finance Authority, she worked at an integrated marketing agency in Des Moines.  Ms. Jared earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Iowa State University, is a Certified Public Manager, has a Master of Public Administration from Drake University and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Communication Leadership from Drake University. Ms. Jared was a member of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry’s 2012-2013 Leadership Iowa class and was named to the Des Moines Business Record’s 2014 list of 40 under 40.
