Alexander Yim

Alex Yim has been an essential part of the IT department of the Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC) since June 2007. He has been actively involved with the agency’s main applications designing, operations, and cloud migration in addition to the network security and IT policy management.

Prior to joining the public sector, he had worked for a private security company for 7 years where he managed the internal IT department. Over the years, he has built his IT expertise by deploying the newly introduced network and security products in a heterogeneous network environment, concentrating in CyberSecurity and cloud computing operations.

Alex had worked as a security, network and systems consultant for several years including working for two .dotcom companies in the Seattle area in the early year 2000’s.
