Cara Pollei

Cara Pollei is a Team Leader in the Multifamily Compliance division at the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. Cara is a graduate of Angelo State University and began her adventure in affordable housing as a leasing agent while in her senior year of college. Cara worked as a leasing agent for a year and then was promoted to property manager, which she continued to do until she joined TDHCA as a compliance monitor in 2017. She is the external trainer for the Multifamily Compliance division and works to offer beneficial trainings to the housing partners for TDHCA. Cara resides in the Austin area with her husband and two sons. The Polleis play lots of sports and are involved in the community and enjoy every minute of the busy-boy life.
