Sara Tichota

Sara Tichota serves as the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Allocation Manager for Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (NIFA). In this role, Sara manages and oversees the LIHTC Allocation Process for NIFA. Prior to joining NIFA, Ms. Tichota served as the Executive Director of the Nebraska Housing Developers Association (NHDA), a non-profit organization that champions affordable housing throughout Nebraska. Sara has worked in the affordable housing industry for over 25 years holding positions such as Housing Coordinator (HOME Funds) with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and Director of Compliance with Perry Reid Properties. Sara is a graduate of Doane University.
