Lakeisha Jones

Lakeisha Jones brings over 20 years of experience in social service programs, specializing in supporting underserved populations, including the homeless, pregnant and parenting teenagers, developmentally disabled adults, and foster children. As the Director of the Office of Homeless and Special Needs Housing, she leads critical efforts to address homelessness and ensure that vulnerable groups receive the resources and support they need.
With more than ten years of expertise in grant administration, Lakeisha has successfully managed a variety of funding programs, including the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Veterans Administration grants, and others. Her extensive background in securing and managing resources has been instrumental in creating sustainable solutions for those in need.
Lakeisha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. In her personal time, she enjoys traveling and reading, further expanding her perspective on diverse cultures and issues.
