Andy Smith

Andy Smith is a Director of Underwriting with Enterprise and is responsible for overseeing a team of Underwriters closing equity investments in multi-family rental housing transactions using federal low-income housing and other tax credits. At Enterprise, Andy has underwritten and closed over 50 affordable housing investments, totaling over $700 million in equity. These investments have resulted in the development or preservation of over 6,000 homes. Andy and his team of Underwriters work in diverse markets across the country and work on deals with a wide variety of financing structures. In addition to his underwriting and management duties, Andy interfaces with Enterprise’s IT and Credit teams on the development of systems and process improvements to make Enterprise’s tax credit acquisitions and underwriting practices more efficient.
