Jeffrey Drennan

Jeff Drennan has been representing for profit and nonprofit developers and investors in affordable housing development for 15 years, across the country. He is currently a senior shareholder and real estate practice group leader at Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The real estate practice group at Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A. includes more than 50 attorneys devoted to affordable housing. Jeff’s daily activities include representing clients through all aspects of the affordable housing development practice including real estate, entitlement, construction, tax compliance and financing matters within each of these complex transactions. He routinely works with federal and state agencies and local municipalities related to financing challenges related to these projects. Jeff has represented developers on projects having total development costs from $5 Million to those sized over $300 Million in total development costs, and no matter the size, they all have similar financial challenges.
