Corey Strong

Corey Strong is Minnesota Housing’s Tribal Liaison. In the role, Corey represents and coordinates the agency’s Indian Policy work, leads meetings and advisory groups, and assists in the development and enhancement of Minnesota Housing Programs. He consults with executive staff to ensure recognition of Tribal authorities, interests and agreements.

Before joining Minnesota Housing, Corey served the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa in many roles, including Tribal Leader, Tribal Administrator and director of various departments. He has lived in Indian Country for most of his life and has spent his career representing his people on the regional and national stage.
