Alex Vlamis

Alex Vlamis, Director, is a banker in the Barclays Affordable Housing Group with a combined 15 years of housing finance experience. Mr. Vlamis joined Barclays in June 2024 after spending 5 years as a banker in the affordable housing group of a different firm. Prior to his banking career, Mr. Vlamis served as a Municipal Advisor where he ran consolidated cash flows, structured bonds, and provided advisory services for State HFAs across the country. Mr. Vlamis holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Northeastern University, an M.B.A. with specializations in Quantitative Finance and Financial Instruments and Markets from New York University’s Stern School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder.
