Mira Morgan

Mira Morgan is the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development’s Special Assistant to the Community Development Administration (CDA). Her work includes policy research and program management for a variety of CDA’s programs, such as multifamily development, energy efficiency and weatherization, and single-family production. She leads program management for UPLIFT, the Department’s newest single-family production initiative, which targets investments in historically redlined communities to increase property values and provide wealth-building opportunities. Her background includes environmental resiliency and disaster recovery, racial equity in health and housing outcomes, and public budgeting. Mira received both her Master of Public Policy and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland College Park.
