Cody Bowles

Cody Bowles currently serves as an Affordable Housing Specialist at HUD in CPD/OAHP where he focuses on the HOME program. Prior to joining OAHP, he contributed as a Program Analyst in PIH/OFO, where he focused on rehousing HUD-assisted families affected by natural and manmade disasters. With a Master’s in Public Policy from George Mason University specializing in equitable community and economic development, coupled with his personal experience facing housing insecurity during his upbringing, Cody brings a deep understanding and respect for HUD’s mission.
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Cody has called the Washington, D.C. area home for most of the past decade. Outside of work he enjoys traveling, reading, listening to podcasts, exploring the outdoors, and discovering cool new restaurants and bars around the DMV.
