Laura Ann Holland

Laura Ann Holland serves as the Director of Strategy and Key Initiatives at the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA). She holds degrees from Samford University and the University of Georgia. Before joining DCA, Laura Ann worked across the country, supporting communities to tackle complex and divisive public safety challenges. Prior to that role, she helped implement Mayoral goals with the Innovation Team at the City of Atlanta, and she built foundational skills in public policy and management while working for the Government Accountability Office. At DCA, Laura Ann previously oversaw a team responsible for implementing strategic housing priorities, spearheading initiatives such as relaunching the department’s Project Based Voucher portfolio in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) development, creating pathways for Supportive Housing Development, and enhancing DCAโs community-based programs to improve access to DCA resources for layered, place-based investment strategies, among others. She recently joined the Executive Team to focus on agency-wide strategic priorities, including the State Housing Trust Fund, customer service approaches, and others. Laura Ann lives in Atlanta with her husband, sons, and rescue dog.
