Jake Naugle

Jake Naugle is Director of Homeownership Lending at Virginia Housing, where he leads efforts to expand access to affordable homeownership across the Commonwealth. He has led initiatives including the launch of Virginia’s first-generation homebuyer program and expanding support for Community Land Trusts to development funding; both initiatives aimed at creating more equitable, sustainable housing opportunities. Jake’s background in credit union lending sparked his passion for helping first-time buyers and underserved communities navigate the path to homeownership. He brings a collaborative, people-first mindset to his work and believes that stable housing is the foundation of strong communities. He also serves on the board of the Partnership for Housing Affordability, a Richmond-based nonprofit that champions policies, developments, and programs to meet community housing needs and transform the regional housing landscape.
