Kathleen Annarelli

Dr. Kathleen M. Annarelli is the Policy Research Coordinator at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA). As Policy Research Coordinator, her responsibilities include researching and evaluating new and existing housing policies; drafting policy guidelines and housing legislation; and collecting, managing, and analyzing data to support the Agency’s goals and to communicate the Agency’s work to the public. Prior to joining NJHMFA, Dr. Annarelli earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Her research focused on the intersection of social safety nets and asset ownership, with an emphasis on the politics of homeownership in advanced economies. Born and raised in Florida, Dr. Annarelli moved to New Jersey to attend Drew University where she earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Economics.
