Tina Miller

As Head of Asset Management’s Compliance Team, Tina directs and manages the housing credit compliance monitoring program for the JPMorgan’s Direct Affordable Housing (DAH) investments. Tina’s responsibilities include assessing the significance of non-compliance for potential risk to credit realization; and assigning compliance ratings to investments and syndicator procedures for JPMorgan’s Direct and syndicated Affordable Housing Investments. Tina also serves as a DAH resource and technical specialist for Originations, Underwriting and Asset Management teams.

Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Tina had nearly two decades of affordable housing property management and asset management experience with a focus on LIHTC and Project Based Section 8 Programs. While working as a Compliance Director for a national management company, she was responsible for designing and implementing affordable trainings, compliance procedures, and ensuring project compliance with file reviews and annual inspections. Along with her work as a Compliance Director, Tina has experience working hands on with numerous Tax Credit lease-ups and most recently worked as an Asset Manager with a company that exclusively worked with tribal housing deals. Notably, Tina served as an Advisory Board Member for National Compliance Professional’s Affordable Conference and has received the following certifications: NCHM: Blended Occupancy Specialist, Certified Occupancy Specialist, Certified Occupancy Specialist Advanced, MOR Specialist, Tax Credit Specialist, National Compliance Professional, and NAHB: Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP). Tina earned a Bachelors of Arts with a major in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago.
