Allie Cannington

For over 15 years, Allie Cannington has organized people with disabilities on local, state, and national levels, always centering those who experience multiple forms of oppression. Allie spends their days as Managing Director at The Kelsey, a national disability-forward housing developer, technical assistance provider, and advocacy organization. At The Kelsey, Allie advances disability-forward housing across policy change and fieldbuilding efforts at the local, state, and federal levels. Allie oversees Qualified Allocation Plan advocacy across multiple states and leads federal LIHTC advocacy to increase the supply of accessible, affordable, and inclusive housing. Within and outside of The Kelsey, Allie’s work is ultimately dedicated to unveiling everyone’s proximity to disability and to fueling change that is accessible, intersectional, and just.
