Libby Hayes

Libby Hayes is the Director of Housing Stability at MassHousing, a position she has held since 2022. The Housing Stability Department provides training, investments, programming, and technical assistance to reduce evictions and advance opportunity for residents in multifamily communities across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Prior, Libby held leadership roles in government, a policy/advocacy organization, and a family shelter, focused on advancing policies and designing and implementing programs to address housing stability, economic mobility, and inclusive practices. She is active on advisory boards, coalitions, and collaborative projects, and a frequent speaker on issues related to housing, homelessness, advocacy, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement. Libby was a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Nicaragua and has a degree in Social Work and a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.
