Samantha Linden

Samantha Linden is the legislative liaison at the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA). After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Samantha began her career in policy in the office of Wisconsin State Senate Minority Leader Janet Bewley, focusing on the issues of energy, climate, and housing. Samantha joined WHEDA in 2022, in the first dedicated legislative policy role. During her time at WHEDA, her work on expanding affordable housing choices through bipartisan legislation have created three new loan programs administered by WHEDA, the near expansion of the State Housing Tax Credit, and an historic investment in workforce and senior housing of $525 million from the State of Wisconsin. Samantha was awarded the 2024 Wisconsin Women in Government (WWIG) Rising Star award this work and impact for people in the state.
