James Riley

James joined Lincoln Avenue Communities in February of 2022 as a Director. He has worked in the real estate development field for the past 6 years and is primarily focused on the new construction as well as acquisition and rehabilitation of affordable housing. In his current role as Vice President and Project Partner, James leads deal teams in the development of affordable housing across the country. This includes every part of the development process—from identifying potential opportunities to their lease-up and stabilization. Prior to joining LAC, James worked for one of the nation’s largest affordable housing developers where he directly worked on the acquisition and development of over 1,100 affordable housing units utilizing the 4% LIHTC. James holds a B.S. in Real Estate Studies and B.A. in Finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
