Jacob Stern

Jacob Stern (Jake) is an experienced community development and real estate finance professional with experience in multiple markets and project types. Jake joined Cinnaire in 2019 and leads Cinnaire’s LIHTC equity and multifamily debt originations work in the Mid-Atlantic region with a focus on Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

Prior to joining Cinnaire and relocating to the Mid-Atlantic, Jake was based in Chicago, IL, and served as Senior Vice President and Director of Economic Development for SomerCor, a not-for-profit SBA Lender and administrator of economic development grant programs on behalf of the City of Chicago.

Jake holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, a Masters of Urban Planning and Policy (MUPP) degree from the University of Illinois – Chicago, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Finance from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
