Belinda Koros

Belinda Koros is the Assisted Housing Oversight Division Director, OAMPO, Multifamily Housing, HUD, in Washington, DC.

The Division is responsible for directing and overseeing the housing assistance and grant programs administered by the Office of Multifamily Housing. These include project-based Section 8 housing assistance, Section 202/811 capital advance and project rental assistance programs, Service Coordinator, Congregate Housing Service Grants, Section 811 Project Rental Assistance Program (PRA), Demonstration Program for Elderly Housing for Intergenerational Families, Family Self Sufficiency and the Tenant Education and Outreach.

The Division is also responsible for oversight of the Project-Based Contract Administration (PBCA) initiative to assure that third-party contract administrators manage the approximately 18,000 rental assistance contracts in an effective and cost-effective manner, and for overall financial oversight of the roughly $15+ billion in annual subsidy payments made under the Section 8 program.

She has over 34 years’ experience in multifamily project management in the headquarters office and field offices in Jacksonville, FL, and Little Rock, AR. She has a BA in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
