Heather Johnson

Heather Johnson is the Assistant Director at Tennessee Housing Development Agency’s mortgage servicing division, Volunteer Mortgage Loan Servicing. She joined THDA in 2016 as one of the first hires to start up the new servicing division. Heather has over 17 years of experience in leading Mortgage Servicing divisions.

Heather works closely with THDA’s legal, risk and compliance partners by performing the servicing audit responses and developing action plans, writing and publishing policies and procedures, setting and monitoring vendor SLAs and internal KPIs, and as a key stakeholder for the implementation of Freddie Mac Servicing, GNMA Servicing, and other large projects.

Heather is the Treasurer and board member for a local non-profit cycling association that hosts a national event each year bringing in thousands of visitors from around the world to Nashville.
