Abigail Phillips

Abigail Phillips joined Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) in March 2021, and was named HOME-ARP Program Manager in January 2022 where she began to develop the new program at KHRC.

Abigail is also actively involved in the Moderate Income Housing (MIH) Program, a state-funded housing development program creating rural housing for moderate-income families. In 2022 and 2023, she helped expand the program after a multi-million-dollar injection of funds into the program.

Originally from Virginia, Abigail comes to KHRC with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Concordia University Texas and a Master’s in Global and International Studies from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) where her primary focus was political rhetoric, poststructuralism, and the Arabic language. She also holds a certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School.
