Christopher Hite

Chris Hite is the CEO of Sugar Creek Capital, an affordable housing firm with offices in both St. Louis and Atlanta. Sugar Creek’s core business is the syndication of state tax credits. Sugar Creek has invested in 30,000 high-quality affordable-housing units in more than a dozen states—and counting. We have also built an impeccable track record and a reputation as a responsible industry leader. Our long-standing relationships set us apart and position us to continue delivering the best affordable housing throughout the country.

Prior to joining Sugar Creek in 2005, Mr. Hite was a founding partner in Dull, Hite & Lowe, and prior to that an associate in the real estate department of the Polsinelli law firm. A substantial portion of his legal practice has been spent representing developers utilizing tax incentives. He has also developed affordable housing projects in Missouri and once served as a law clerk for the Missouri Housing Development Commission. Mr. Hite graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in political science with an emphasis in business. He received his juris doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
