Dhathri Chunduru

Dhathri Chunduru is the Director of Research and Planning at the Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA). In her position, she oversees the various research and analytic initiatives of the agency as well as the Consolidated Planning process. In her tenure, Dhathri has established a program evaluation initiative to better understand and improve the agency’s various programs; led the development of more dynamic data products to increase efficiency and usage; and established protocols to increase the transparency, integrity, and replicability of the agency’s data governance and analytic processes. Prior to her role at THDA, she held various research and public policy positions in education, urban planning, and housing. Dhathri holds a PhD in the Sociology of Education and Quantitative Methods from Johns Hopkins University.
