Erik Jorgensen

Erik Jorgensen is the Senior Director of Government Relations and Communications at MaineHousing. Before joining the agency in 2021 he represented Portland in the Maine House of Representatives, where he was an eight-year member of the Appropriations Committee. Prior to that, he was Executive Director of the Maine Humanities Council, following service in other positions in Maine’s museum and foundation sectors. Erik holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College and an MPA from Harvard University.
