Jeffery Wirrick

Leveraging a three decades-long career in the affordable housing industry and deep expertise in corporate operations, Jeffery K. Wirrick, CPM, serves as Chief Operating Officer of National Housing Compliance (NHC). In this role since 2004, Jeff oversees the Asset Management Division which encompasses management and occupancy reviews, rent adjustments, contract renewals, resident resolutions; as well as oversees corporate program compliance, business development, and quality assurance.

Before joining NHC, Jeff worked for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, first as a senior financial analyst and then as the Operations Manager for the PBCA program.

Jeff often speaks as a trainer and thought leader at major industry conferences, including HUD Focus Groups and NCSHA. He currently holds the GA State Director position for SAHMA and has served on national work groups and steering committees to help shape industry policies and change management strategies. Due to his hard work and dedication to driving change within the industry, Jeff has earned recognition, including a certificate of achievement from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Jeff has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Michigan State University. He currently retains the following professional certifications: Certified Property Manager (CPM), Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM) and Assisted Housing Manager (AHM); and an Executive Certificate in Business Strategy from Kennesaw State University.

Jeff honorably served in the U.S. Army, where he was awarded the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
