Kyla Goldsmith-Ray

As the Communications Director for Virginia Housing, Kyla oversees the Marketing, Public Relations, Creative Services, and Event Planning teams. She has held this role since 2018.

Kyla cut her teeth as an ad agency creative before spending nearly 20 years in corporate America, where she led branding efforts for companies such as Capital One and CarMax. She is well-versed in multiple disciplines, including creative strategy, corporate sponsorships and events, and marketing and public relations. Her experience is what brings big brands to life.

Kyla holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). This time of year, she (and her game day superstitions) can be found in her dedicated spot watching The Tide roll, or out enjoying her son’s lacrosse games.
