Daniel Pulter

Dan joined S&P Global Ratings in 2017 in the USPF Local Government group–covering cities, counties, school districts, and special assessment districts throughout the southeastern United States. He transitioned to the USPF Housing team in 2018, where he covers a wide variety of housing bond issuers, including state and local housing finance agencies, social housing providers, community development financial institutions, and not-for-profit borrowers.
Prior to joining S&P, Dan worked on the sell side as a secondary market broker where he was FINRA series 7 and 63 licensed. As a broker his expertise spanned both high-yield and investment grade investments in the taxable and tax-exempt municipal markets. Before entering the financial services industry, Dan worked in the biotechnology sector as a research technician with the Michigan Biotechnology Institute, where he specialized in the de-risking and upscaling of bio-based technologies for multinational corporate and non-profit clients.
Dan holds Bachelor of Science degrees from Michigan State University in Human Biology and Microbiology and is a CFA® Charterholder.
