Fabrizio Fasulo

Dr. Fabrizio Fasulo is the Director of Policy and Planning at Virginia Housing, where he works with a team of incredibly talented policy analysts and researchers to provide the Virginia Housing Board and Leadership with cutting-edge analyses and reporting.
Previously, Dr. Fasulo worked as Director and Principal Economist at the Center for Urban and Regional Analysis at VCU. There, he specialized in economic and fiscal impact analysis, program evaluation, regional economic change, and comparative development policy.
Before moving to the United States, Dr. Fasulo worked as an academic researcher at the University of Messina and at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and as a member of private consulting groups and regional development agencies in Europe.
He holds a PhD in Economics and Institutions from the Universities of Messina and Rome, and a Master in Urban and Regional Planning from VCU. His research interests include housing, urban and regional economics, policy evaluation, economic and fiscal impacts, commercial district revitalization, comparative development policy, and European regional policy.
