Robert Foggio

Bob, joined Jefferies in March 2016 and has over 30 years and over $25 billion of Senior Managed municipal housing financing experience primarily with State and local Housing finance Agencies. Bob has spent his entire career focused on housing, working first on the mortgage backed trading floor then transitioning into housing within municipal finance. His financing experience runs the gamut of single family, multifamily, taxable, tax-exempt, fixed rate, variable rate, synthetic fixed rate, new money, refundings and restructures. Bob has structured all types of short-term variable rate products, often times linking these products with interest rate swaps to create synthetic fixed rate debt and he has structured and sold over $6 billion of interest rate swaps. He has also modeled all types of fixed rate bonds including par and premium serials bonds, term bonds, supersinkers, CABs, PACs, oversized PACs, tax-exempt and taxable monthly pass-through bonds and most recently, as volume cap has again become a constraint, blended taxable/tax-exempt bond issues. His multi-family experience includes HUD 221(d)(4)’s, Fannie Mae MTEBs, Freddie Mac sales, LIHTC transactions and non-rated workforce housing . Bob experience covers not only the financial bond structures of his clients but also the programmatic side helping develop mortgage structures and loan programs to target specific renter profiles and first-time homebuyers. Bob received his BS from the University of Rochester and his MBA from the Simon Business School.
