Ansel Caine

Ansel Caine is the President of Caine Mitter. He has 18 years of public finance experience and is active in all of the firm’s single and multifamily housing finance services. Mr. Caine has provided services to over 30 HFAs. He is an expert in the mortgage revenue bond, TBA, and derivative markets. He focuses much of his time on program optimization and best execution, and developing analytical approaches to interpreting market and programmatic activity in real-time. In 2011, Mr. Caine led the development of the firm’s TBA advisory business, which has executed over $27 billion mortgage-backed security trades on behalf of HFAs. He has worked on over $50 billion in municipal bond issues and over $6 billion in municipal derivatives transactions. Before joining Caine Mitter, Mr. Caine worked at UBS Investment Bank on the municipal derivatives desk and with the public finance quantitative group. He graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Environmental Science and Policy.
