Bettie Teasley

Bettie Teasley is the Manager of Policy and Research for the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency. Ms. Teasley joined the Agency in September 2020. Prior to being in North Carolina, she served nearly a decade as Director of Research and Planning at the Tennessee Housing Development Agency. Her career has been spent primarily in state government in several policy arenas including cash assistance, food security, self-sufficiency, higher education and safety. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Kenyon College and a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Policy from Vanderbilt University.
