The Senate Finance Committee, House Ways and Means Committee, and Senate Banking Committee all held hearings the week of May 17 on investing in the nation’s infrastructure. During the hearings, key housing champions from both parties spoke about affordable housing, including the importance of the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act (AHCIA; S. 1136/H.R. 2573), the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act (S.98), and helping first-time home buyers.
