HUD Proposed Rule on HOME Program Updates and Streamlining
On May 29, 2024, the Department of Housing and Urban Development issued a proposed rule on the HOME Investment Partnerships Program. The new rule would update and streamline regulations for HOME by reducing burden on program participants, better aligning HOME funding with other federal housing programs, and increasing flexibility for participating jurisdictions.
Comments are due to HUD on July 29, 2024.
