HFAs’ Letter to Appropriators on Project-Based Rental Assistance Contract Administration
In this letter, 37 state Housing Finance Agencies (HFAs) asked House and Senate Appropriations Committee leaders to preserve in any final FY 2024 HUD appropriations legislation the project-based rental assistance contract administration (PBCA) language contained in the Senate-passed FY 24 HUD appropriations bill. This general provision would allow HUD to continue its longstanding partnership with HFAs and other Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) to preserve and protect a critical source of our country’s affordable housing stock.
