H.R. 3354 Make America Secure and Prosperous Appropriations Act for FY 2018

In September 2017, the House passed a $1.23 trillion Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 omnibus spending bill that includes funding for HUD and USDA housing programs. The Make America Secure and Prosperous Appropriations Act for FY 2018, H.R. 3354, was not expected to be brought up for a vote in the Senate. Instead, the measure was seen as the House’s starting position for negotiations over full-year FY 2018 appropriations legislation.
