NCSHA Supports ROAD to Housing Act of 2025

The National Council of State Housing Agencies strongly supports the ROAD to Housing Act of 2025 and commends Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott (R-SC), Ranking Member Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and all the members of the committee for their bipartisan leadership in advancing ways to increase the supply of affordable housing. This comprehensive and important bill addresses our serious affordable housing needs by cutting red tape, improving the HOME Investment Partnerships Program, reforming rural housing programs, promoting more private investment in affordable housing, and creating several new programs to encourage the production and preservation of affordable housing. We hope the Senate will advance this bipartisan bill soon and look forward to working with Congress to make it law.
