Wall Raising for Ira D. Hall Square

Board Chair Jim Cervantes represented CalHFA at an event today in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County, celebrating the Wall Raising at Ira D. Hall Square. CalHFA Board Member Preston Prince, the Executive Director of the Santa Clara County Housing Authority, also participated in the event.
The development is financed in part by CalHFA’s Mixed-Income Program and will eventually provide 176 units of much-needed affordable housing.
Approved for a Mixed-Income Program loan in 2023, Ira D. Hall Square is being constructed in collaboration with MidPen Housing, the City of Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County and the County Housing Authority, CDLAC, CTCAC and various other private partners.
MIP launched in 2019 following the passage of the Building Homes and Jobs Act, and in that time has provided financing to help construct 9,684 units of affordable housing at a mix of income levels.
Thank you for supporting CalHFA and our mission to invest in diverse communities with financing programs that help more Californians have a place to call home.
