OHFA Adds Staff in the Multifamily Housing and Residential Lending Offices

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) is proud to share that Eric Walker, Enzo Vian, Kathy Carroll, and Rachael Usselman have joined the OHFA team and Rae Snedegar and Michael Hamm have been promoted.
Eric Walker is OHFA’s new housing examiner trainee in the Office of Multifamily Housing. Previously, he worked as a utility inspector for 19 years with the city of Columbus Department of Public Utilities. Eric is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology.
Enzo Vian joins OHFA as the new construction project specialist 2 in the Office of Multifamily Housing. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in architecture from the University of Philadelphia (currently named Thomas Jefferson University) and worked for the Philadelphia Housing Authority for 11 years.
Kathy Carroll is OHFA’s new program compliance manager in the Office of Multifamily Housing – Program Compliance. With more than 24 years of affordable housing experience, she most recently worked as the area supervisor in the Ohio Portfolio with FPI Management. She supervised the compliance of Project Based Section 8 and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties while assisting the regional portfolio manager with daily operations. Kathy has the following affordable housing designations: Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO), and Management Occupancy Review Specialist (MORS).
Rachael Usselman joined OHFA as the residential lending manager in the Office of Single Family Housing. She has more than 21 years of experience in residential mortgage lending and previously worked with American Eagle/CrossCountry Mortgage. As a senior loan processor, she assisted her team and borrowers through the loan process. Rachael also developed and implemented process improvements that improved the evaluation and interpretation of income and financial statements.
Rae Snedegar was promoted to bond accountant 3 in the Office of Finance at OHFA. During her 10-year tenure at OHFA, she worked as a Save the Dream program underwriter, bond accountant 1, and bond accountant 2. Rae received an associate degree in accounting from Gallipolis Career College in Gallipolis, Ohio.
Michael Hamm was promoted to software development specialist 2 in the Office of Information Technology. Prior to joining OHFA as a software development specialist 1, Michael worked as a senior analyst for IT Operations for Nationwide Insurance where his responsibilities included implementing new technological improvements. He also trained contractors and associates in processes and technology. He received his associate degree in computer networking from ITT Technical Institute.
