Grand Opening for Twin Oaks Apartments

CalHFA Housing Finance Officer Kevin Brown was in Contra Costa County today speaking at the Grand Opening event for Twin Oaks senior apartments in Oakley.

The 130-unit affordable housing development was approved for financing through CalHFA’s Mixed-Income Program (MIP) in 2020 and constructed in collaboration with Highridge Costa Housing Partners LLC, the city of Oakley, CDLAC/CTCAC and various other private partners.

MIP launched in 2019 following the passage of the Building Homes and Jobs Act, and in that time has provided financing to help construct 7.654 units of affordable housing at a mix of income levels.
