Grand Opening for Mainline North

California Housing Finance Agency Executive Director Tony Sertich will speak Wednesday at the Grand Opening of the Mainline North apartments, a 151-unit affordable housing development in Santa Clara.

Approved for a loan through CalHFA’s Mixed-Income Program (MIP) in 2022, Mainline North will add much-needed affordable housing at a mix of low incomes in one of the highest-cost counties in California. This housing was built in collaboration with CDLAC, CTCAC, the city of Santa Clara and private partners including developer USA Properties.

MIP launched in 2019 following the passage of the Building Homes and Jobs Act and, in that time, has provided financing to help construct 11,563 units of affordable housing at a mix of income levels.
