Overview

Save the Date: March 9 – 11, 2020

A new Congress is in office, and we’ve got work to do.

HFAsOnTheHill

We need to educate all our Representatives and Senators on the central role state HFAs play in the American affordable housing system.

We need to continue the campaign to increase and improve the Housing Credit so it can serve more low-income renters who need housing help.

We need to press for a stronger housing finance system that ensures homeownership opportunity and rental housing options for everyone.

And we need to solidify core federal resources that help states meet their most pressing affordable housing needs: HOME, the Housing Trust Fund, and Section 8.

Thank you to all who joined NCSHA and HFAs on the Hill March 11 – 13 to educate your members of Congress about the federal programs you count on to provide the housing help needed in your community.
