HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan, Other Federal Officials to Speak at NCSHA’s Legislative Conference

HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan will join hundreds of affordable housing advocates, including HFA executive directors, board members, staff, and industry partners at NCSHA’s Legislative Conference this March.  Just before the Administration is scheduled to release its proposed FY 2015 budget, Donovan will lay out the Administration’s housing plans and priorities for the year ahead and answer questions regarding the strategic partnerships between state HFAs and HUD.

Other invited Administration speakers for the conference include HUD’s Assistant Secretary for Housing and Federal Housing Commissioner Carol Galante and USDA’s Administrator for Rural Housing and Community Facilities Tony Hernandez.

Key congressional leaders and staff will also share their insights on what is likely to happen this year regarding housing finance reform, tax reform, and federal spending.

NCSHA members can make a difference for affordable housing by coming to Washington to speak directly to and hear directly from Administration officials and members of Congress at the Legislative Conference.  Special discount registration rates are available through Monday, February 3.
