NCSHA Summary of the ROAD to Housing Act
This document summarizes the Renewing Opportunity in the American Dream to Housing Act of 2025, or ROAD to Housing Act, which the U.S Senate passed on October 9. This wide-ranging package contains dozens of proposals introduced by Senators from both parties. The legislation includes several bills supported by NCSHA, most notably the HOME Investment Partnerships Program Reauthorization and Improvement Act. It is the first bipartisan housing bill to advance through the Senate in more than a decade.
