South Dakota Housing Hosting Listening Sessions Regarding Housing Finance Programs

PIERRE, S.D. (1/18/24) – South Dakota Housing, in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, will be hosting three listening sessions around the state to solicit comments on the 2024 Annual Action Plan and the allocation plans for the HOME, Housing Tax Credit, Housing Trust Fund, Emergency Solutions Grants, Community Development Block Grant, and Housing Opportunity Fund programs.

The listening sessions are an opportunity for the public to provide their comments, suggestions and ideas prior to drafting the 2024-2025 plans. The public will have another chance to provide written comments once the draft plans have been released in February.

Persons interested in providing comments may do so by appearing at one of the public meetings, or by sending written comments to SD Housing, attention Amy Eldridge, PO Box 1237, Pierre, SD 57501, by fax (605) 773-5154 or emailing to amy@sdhda.org. All comments are due by 5 p.m. CT, February 2, 2024.
