Alexis Carpenter Joins VHFA as Director of Human Resources and Administration

BURLINGTON, VT- Alexis M. Carpenter (she/her) of Morgan has joined VHFA in the role of Director of Human Resources and Administration.

Carpenter has nine years of experience working for RDI Corporation in Newport in a series of progressively more advanced roles, most recently as Director of Site Operations. She is also the founder and CEO of Raising Hope, LLC, specializing in organizational culture design and team development.

“Alexis is a highly skilled human resources and organizational culture leader,” explained Maura Collins, VHFA’s Executive Director. “We are very excited to have her join our team as we evolve VHFA into a leading-edge post-pandemic workplace.”

VHFA is a non-profit agency created in 1974 by the Vermont Legislature to finance and promote affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income Vermonters. Since its inception, the Agency has helped approximately 30,000 Vermont households with affordable mortgages and financed the development of approximately 8,800 affordable rental apartments.
