Kevin Kelly

Kevin Kelly serves as Chairman and Managing Principal of Leon N. Weiner & Associates, Inc. LNWA, a home building, development and property management firm based in Wilmington, Delaware.

LNWA and its affiliated companies have constructed, developed and preserved more than 20,000 homes, market rate and affordable apartments. Its other activities include the development of commercial, retail and hotel properties. Arbor Management, an LNWA affiliate, operates more than 7,000 apartments in nine (9) states. Its work has garnered numerous awards, including ā€œNational Multifamily Developer of the Yearā€, builder and developer of ā€œAmericaā€™s Best Affordable For-Sale Housing Communityā€, and has been named Delaware Home Builder of the Year three (3) times. The company has been recognized as one of Delawareā€™s ā€œTop Work Placesā€ for eight (8) consecutive years.

Throughout his career, Kevin has been a passionate advocate for the homebuilding industry at the local, state and national level. He served two terms as President of the Home Builders Association of Delaware (HBADE) and has twice been named Delaware Builder of the Year. In 2014, Kevin was elected Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Additionally, Mr. Kelly has served on the boards of numerous community and industry organizations, including Fannie Maeā€™s Affordable Housing Advisory Council, the Board of Governors and Board of Directors of the National Housing Conference (NHC), Independent Living/CareLink, Inc., the New Castle County Housing Advisory Council, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Wilmington, and serves as a gubernatorial appointee to the Delaware Council on Development Finance.

Kelly is President and Co-Founder of the Leon N. Weiner Education Foundation which provides cultural enrichment programs and academic scholarships to children residing in LNWA properties.

Mr. Kellyā€™s advocacy for affordable housing and his leadership of the housing industry have been recognized by Delaware Governor Markell, both houses of the Delaware General Assembly and Delawareā€™s Congressional Delegation.
