Jessie Cassella joined Klein Hornig in 2018, focusing her practice on a wide range of affordable housing and community development matters, specifically transactions utilizing various HUD programs.
Prior to joining Klein Hornig, Jessie was a Staff Attorney at the National Housing Law Project (NHLP) where she focused on preserving existing affordable housing in urban and rural communities and enforcing low-income tenants’ rights. At NHLP, Jessie developed strong knowledge of HUD housing programs, and, in particular, the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program. Before joining NHLP, Jessie clerked at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office and at NHLP, and was a City Hall Fellow at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.
