Danielle Samalin

Over two decades, Danielle has focused her work on the enduring importance of home, and the power of homeownership. Since launching Framework in 2012, she has worked to create new technologies and delivery systems to educate and empower homebuyers and homeowners, who are navigating the increasingly complex homeownership ecosystem. Danielle has advocated for innovative, scalable systems that could provide both efficiency and consistent quality throughout a changing mortgage market.

In recognition of her work to launch Framework, HousingWire Magazine named Danielle one of the 2014 Influential Women in Housing. She also has served on the Fannie Mae Affordable Housing Advisory Council, the NeighborWorks Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling Advisory Committee, and as the Chair of the National Industry Standards Advisory Committee. Danielle also helped to create the Coalition of HUD Housing Counseling Intermediaries, a national network of HUD-approved housing counseling nonprofit organizations that also pass through federal funding to other nonprofits housing counseling providers. Additionally, she has published in the Federal Reserve Bank of San Franciscoā€™s Community Development Investment Review, discussing homeownership and neighborhood stabilization.
